Lena Marino Whitney

Lena M. Whitney, age 92, of North Andover, formerly of Medford and Florida, September 6, 2014. Daughter of the late Guisieppe and Conchetta (Saia) Marino. Wife of the late John F. Whitney. Mother of Joan Legor & her husband Larry of Stoneham, Nancy Lamattina & her husband Richard of Middleton and Jay Whitney & his partner Michael of Malden. Sister of James Marino, Yolanda Fulgoni, Marie Freeman, Rose Zanni and the late Joseph, Domenic and Victor Marino. Also survived by grandchildren, Michael Lamattina, Julianne Post, David Lamattina, Lindsay Rosado, Alison Darnell and Caroline Legor; 10 great grandchildrren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering and funeral service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 10th, 10A.M-12P.M. at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home 4 Common St., Stoneham, followed by burial with military honors in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
