Gloria P. Calderaro

Gloria P. Calderaro, age 89, a resident of Wakefield for over thirty years, died unexpectedly at her home Tuesday, September 30, 2014. She was the wife of the late Peter Calderaro. Gloria was born and raised in Everett, Ma; daughter of the late Ralph and Elvira (DeSimone) Luongo.
Gloria had worked for many years as a sterile processing technician at Melrose Wakefield Hospital. She was a devout Catholic and a communicant at St. Joseph’s Church in Wakefield. She cherished her children and grandchildren and enjoyed visiting with her friends in her apartment complex. She will be sorely missed by her family.
She was the mother of Karen Unis of Saugus and the late Pamela Perry. She was the grandmother of Amy Unis of Saugus, David Perry of Wakefield, Kristen Unis of Bedford and Gregory Unis of Saugus.
Visitation will be held at the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, on Monday, October 6th , 11A.M.-1P.M., followed by a prayer service at 1P.M. Interment will be in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
