Joel Joaquim Corvelo, age 66, of Medford, formerly of San Peol, Sao Pedro, Sao Miguel, Portugal, passed away December 19, 2014. Son of the late Maria da Conceicao Medeiros and Jose Joaquim Corvelo. Husband of Maria de Fatima Corvelo. Father of Susana Johnson, Sonia Moura, Marta Moura and Tiago Corvelo. Grandfather of Tiago Medeiros, Joy Medeiros, Caleb Molina, Joel Moura, Bianca Moura, Isaac Corvelo and Noah Paul. Brother of Palmira Botelho, Gisela Corvelo Tavares, Alda Raposo, Isaura Botelho and Cisaltina Valerio. Also survived by one greatgrandchild, Elijah Minson.
Funeral from the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, Tuesday, December 23rd at 8 A.M. followed by a funeral service in the First Baptist Church, 457 Main St., Stoneham at 10 A.M, followed by burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday, 4-8 P.M.
