Glenn Paul Farrell

July 13, 1959 — January 28, 2015

Glenn Paul Farrell, age 55, a lifelong resident of Stoneham, died of lung cancer on January 28, 2015. Born in Winchester, MA, he was the son of Thelma N. (Geddis) of Stoneham and the late Edward J. Farrell, Sr.
Glenn was raised in Stoneham and attended the Stoneham Public Schools. He was a cab driver for Burlington Taxi and the past owner of Spartan Livery. He was a member of the Stoneham Elks Lodge 2211 and served as their Exalted Ruler.
Glenn was an enthusiastic supporter of all the Boston sports teams. He was a good softball player himself and played on the Elks softball team. He loved visiting his mom on Saturday mornings over coffee and scratch tickets.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Jason Farrell and his wife Sandi of West Melbourne, FL, Nicholas Conza and Ian Conza and his partner Rebecca of Woburn. He was the brother of Edward J. Farrell, Jr. and his wife Marianne of Billerica, Cynthia A. Ballard and her husband Lewis of Wakefield and Lisa Spinucci and her husband Joseph of Woburn. He is also survived by four grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7th at 1 P.M. in the Stoneham Elks, 471 Main St., Stoneham. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Stoneham Boys and Girls Club, 15 Dale Court, Stoneham, MA 02180. Arrangements under the direction of Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home.
