Alfred V. Seaward

Alfred V. Seaward, age 95, of Atkinson, NH, formerly of Stoneham, died at home on March 21, 2015. He was the devoted husband of Lillian (Fewtrell) Seaward. Born and raised in Everett, MA; he was the son of the late Everett and Annie (Potts) Seaward.
Alfred was a 1938 graduate of Everett High School, Malden Business School and Williams College School of Banking. He served with the 31st Weather Squadron in the Army/Air Force during WWII and fought in the American and Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaigns.
Mr. Seaward resided in Stoneham with his family for 50 years prior to moving to New Hampshire in 2007. Throughout his banking career, he was employed at the Malden Trust Company, serving as vice president and treasurer.
Among the many local charities that Mr. Seaward was involved were the Everett Foundation for the Aged and the Everett Council Board of Directors for the Salvation Army. He attended the Island Pond Baptist Church in Hampstead, NH.
He was the father of Robert A. Seaward and his wife Delores of Atkinson, NH.
Funeral services are Wednesday at 11 A.M. in Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, followed by burial with military honors in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visitation: Tuesday, 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Brookhaven Hospice, 100 Lafayette Rd., Hampton Falls, NH 03849.
