Edward J. Zani Jr.

Edward J. Zani Jr., age 45, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, died unexpectedly, March 30, 2016. Born in Malden, MA; he was the son of Elaine (Statho) Zani of Wakefield and the late Edward Zani.
Edward was a graduate of Wakefield High School; completed a school of massage therapy and received an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts. He was self-employed.
Edward enjoyed the theatre and music. He sang in barbershop quartets and volunteered at the Stoneham Theatre.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Yvonne Zani Wightman and her husband Scott Wightman of Derry, NH and Suzanne Zani Hyde and her husband Phil Hyde of Wakefield. He was the uncle of Bobby Ahearn Jr. and Avanna Hyde of Wakefield.
A funeral service will be held at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham on Monday, April 4th at 11 A.M. Visiting hours are Sunday, 4:30-6:30 P.M.
