Lillian Marie Burns

Lillian Marie Burns, age 78, of Peabody, formerly of Reading, passed away April 7, 2016. She was the wife of the late Frederick W. Burns. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Pierre Rene and Marion Louise (Emery) Surette.
Lillian was raised and educated in East Boston and graduated from Girls High School. She resided in Reading for 35 years prior to moving to Peabody 10 years ago. She worked as a telephone operator at the Business & Professional Exchange, retiring in 2011, after 28 years of employment.
She was the cherished mother of John E. Burns of Peabody and Carol A. Pottier and her husband John of Beverly and grandmother of Kevin, Mark and Christopher Pottier.
Visitation will be at the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, Sunday, April 10th , 4-7 P.M. followed by a prayer service at 7 P.M. Burial will be Monday at 11 A.M. in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
