Betty Ha Lee

Betty Ha Lee, age 90, of Stoneham, died peacefully on November 6, 2016. She was the cherished wife of Jim Yim Lee to whom she had been married 69 years.
Betty was born and raised in Canton, China; daughter of the late Chi Hung Ng and Chui Lan Wong. Betty came to the States as a new bride, and she and Jim settled in Stoneham where they worked and raised their family. The Lee family owned and operated the Din Ho Laundry in Stoneham Square.
Betty was the mother of George Lee of Lowell, Stephen Lee and his wife Cindy of Oakland, CA, Robert Lee and his wife Kathy of Tewksbury, Thomas Lee of Longmont, CO and Karen Lee of Stoneham. She was the sister of Alan Ng and his wife Betty of Miami, FL and Doris Chan and her husband Willy of Vancouver, BC, Canada. She also leaves her grandchildren, Tammy Kouy, Vicki Seng, Chris Lee, Andrew Lee and Adam Lee and five great grandchildren.
A private funeral service for family will be held Monday at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, followed by burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
