Israel Aviles, age 61, a resident of Quincy, died unexpectedly November 17, 2016. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY; he was the son of Pedro Aviles and the late Amada (Cordero) Aviles.
Israel was a proud veteran serving in the US Army National Guard and stationed at Fort Knox Texas. While living in Texas, he was employed at the Bethesda Clinic in Tyler and worked as a phlebotomist.
Israel was a professional musician and toured throughout the US. He was a vocalist; played the trumpet, guitar and harmonica and wrote much of his own music.
He was the loving father of Khistine Duren and her husband David and Jessica Aviles and adored grandfather of Katharine Duren, Janessa Duren and Khloe Aviles. He also leaves his brothers,Danny Aviles and Peter Aviles and sisters Migdalia Aviles, Lidia Aviles and Abigail Aviles.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 22nd at 10 A.M. at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham
