Catherine Teresa Graham

Catherine Teresa Graham, age 83, a lifelong resident of Stoneham, passed away on December 12, 2016. Born and raised in Stoneham. She was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Mary A (Gillespie) Graham.
Catherine attended St. Patrick’s Elementary School in Stoneham and graduated from Our Lady of Nazareth Academy in Wakefield. For 45 years, she was employed as a bookkeeper at Filene’s in Boston.
Catherine was an avid reader and kept current with local and national politics. She enjoyed her daily walks to the bus stop, to the grocery store and to church. She was a devoted communicant of St. Patrick Parish.
She was the sister of the late Anna Vadala and her husband Anthony, Rose Graham and Charles Graham. She leaves her sister-in-law Lillian Graham of New Hampshire and several nieces and nephews, including Michael Vadala, his wife Nancy and daughter Katie of North Reading.
A Funeral Mass was held at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, Monday, December 19th at 10 A.M. , followed by burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. Those desiring, please make a memorial tribute in Catherine’s name to a charity of your choice.
