Charles E. Langille Jr. “Chuck”, age 53, of Stoneham, passed away February 15, 2017, at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. Born in Malden, MA and raised in Stoneham ; he was the son of Charles E. Langille of Stoneham and the late Helen (Arthur ) Langille.
From the age of seven, Chuck had lived in Stoneham and attended Stoneham Schools. He was an outstanding athlete and played, as well as coached, hockey and softball. He was employed as a tile setter.
Chuck loved spending time with his daughters. He would take them on adventures in his car, finding new and fun places for them to enjoy. He had a witty sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He lived for the moment with a positive attitude and cherished the times he had with his family and friends. Chuck was a great listener, a cherished friend, a loving father and “papa”. “Love you Buddy”
He was the father of Amber Rose Langille and Ashley Rose Langille both of Stoneham and grandfather of Conor and Aliyah. He was the brother of Donna Scheri and her husband Alan of Lynn and the late Laurie Langille and Tracy West. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Steve Long; nieces and nephews, Alanna Morcaldi, Matthew, David, Danny and Shanon Scheri, Christopher Long, James Langille, Derek and Anthony West; his favorite “Uncle Buddy” and his wife Louise Arthur and his former wife Roxanne Nadeau.
A celebration of the life of Charles Langille will be held Sunday, March 5th from 1-4 P.M. at the American Legion Hall, 11 Common St., Stoneham. Relatives and friends are invited. Arrangements under the care of Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home.
