Peter Goldman

Peter Goldman, M.D., 87, of Newton, MA, died March 19, 2017. He was the husband of 58 years to Margaret (Ingraham) Goldman. Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of Irving and Lillian (Badanes) Goldman.
He received a BA in Engineering Physics from Cornell, a MA in Physics from Harvard and a MD from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He served as an intern and resident at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in NYC.
Dr. Goldman was Professor of Health Science at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Maxwell Finland Professor of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School.
He was the father of Mary and Ruth and their husbands Greg and Patrick and grandfather of Ben and Lucy.
Dr. Goldman lived a full life as scientist, teacher, mentor, husband, father, grandfather and friend.
