Jean Goode

Jean Goode, the beloved wife of nearly 65 years to Robert “Bob” Goode, passed away April 4, 2017. Born in Boston, MA she was the daughter of the late Pompelii and Mary (Cannata) Perullo.
Jean loved her family with a deep passion. She was an incredible cook, baker; enjoyed taking care of her flower garden, and she adored her little dog, Teaza. Along with her family, these were the biggest joys in her life. Her home was always open to family and friends. She will be greatly missed as a wife, mom and best friend to all of us who loved her so much.
She was one of the best moms and for her that was her claim to fame.
Jean was the youngest of her six siblings who have all predeceased her. She was the devoted mother of Diane Mazzola and her husband Cesidio “Sid” of Newton, Lynn Goode and her fiancé Mark Thompson of Revere, Lori Zagarella and her husband David of Malden and the late Richard Goode. She was the adored grandmother of Marco Mazzola of Burlington, Ariana Zagarella of Everett, Nickolas Zagarella of Danvers and the late Dante Mazzola. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham on Saturday, April 8th, 11 A.M.-1 P.M. with a prayer service at 1P. M., followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the National Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
