Patricia G. Smith

Patricia Gail Smith of Norwood, MA, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 following a lengthy illness.

Patty was a well-respected Special Education Teacher in the Attleboro, Westwood and Holbrook Public Schools, and held a Master’s in Education from Boston College and a BA from UMass Amherst.

Patty is survived by her husband, John Dundon and her daughter Rebecca Dundon, both of Norwood, MA; sister Donna Murray and her husband Thomas of Holbrook, MA; and brother Arthur Smith and his wife Terri Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC

Donations in Patty’s honor may be made to Compassionate Care ALS, P.O Box 1052, West Falmouth, MA, in appreciation for their loving support of Patty and her family.

Service is Saturday 9/16/17 at 11 a.m. at First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, 1508 Washington St., Canton, MA, followed by a 2-4 p.m. reception at The Chateau Restaurant, 404 Boston-Providence Turnpike, Norwood, MA
