Violeta “Nanay Volet” Eroles Lirag, 78

The devoted and loving wife of Ernesto Del Carmen Lirag+ and warm and caring mother of Boyet, Ley, and Jon, Violeta Lirag, passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer on the 10th of September, 2017.

Born in the Philippines, Nanay Volet devoted much of her time and energy as a homemaker. She also ran a direct sales business to help support the family. She enjoys gardening and sewing as well as watching Filipino telenovela series with her late husband Ernesto.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernesto DC Lirag last January 2017. She is survived by her sister Ester Simeon, Philippines; daughter Leyda (spouse Larry); sons Boyet and Jon (spouse Marisa) and 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, MA 02180.
