Rita Mary Beisser

Beisser, Rita Mary (Biagioni)

Age 93, of North Andover, MA, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2017. Dear wife of the late Dr. Arnold Beisser of Los Angeles, California. Rita was born in Somerville, MA, on April 27, 1924, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ancilla Biagioni. Growing up in Medford, MA, she attended St. Joseph School and Medford High School. She moved to Southern California in 1950, where she was a practicing physical therapist, and where she met her husband Arnold.

Rita and Arnold enjoyed traveling and at home were always surrounded by cherished friends. Rita had a flair for fashion and decorating. She was an expert bridge player, enjoyed teaching others and continued playing up until recent years where she resided in North Andover.

Rita is survived by her sister Clara Leo of Stoneham, MA. She was the sister of the late Adele Iacopucci, Peter Biagioni, Aldo Biagioni, Severino Biagioni, and Albert Biagioni, She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews to whom she was very caring and generous. A memorial service will be planned for a future date.
