Whelan, Daniel C., 86, of Stoneham, December 3, 2017. Loving son of the late Joseph and Laura (Cousins) Whelan. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" (Doherty) Whelan. Devoted father of Mary, Daniel and his wife Janice, James and his wife Lori, Janet, Diane and the late Nancy Whelan. Cherished grandfather of Ashley and Sean Godding, Ryan, Kyle, James, Julia and Dylan Whelan and great grandfather of Jackson and Rilee. Dear brother of Jack Whelan, the late Emmet Whelan and Mary Sawtelle. Also survived by many caring nieces, nephews and friends.
