Howard Charles Llewellyn Sr.

January 24, 1933 — February 16, 2018

Howard C. Llewellyn Sr. of Marstons Mills passed away February 16, 2018 . Born and raised in Lynn, MA; he was the son of the late Howard and Jeannette (Rydant) Llewellyn. He was the husband of Marcia (Adams) Llewellyn with whom he had shared 54 years of marriage.
After graduating from Salem State and starting his teaching career, Howard served in the US Army. He later earned his Master’s and C.A.G.S. from Boston University and his Doctorate from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. Dr. Llewellyn retired in 1993 from the Lexington Public Schools where he was Business Education Department Head for many years. It was at Lexington High School where he met his wife Marcia.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Lisabeth “Beth” A. Llewellyn-Lavoie and her husband David Lavoie of Woburn and his son Howard “Howie” C. Llewellyn Jr. and his wife Karima Meguid-Llewellyn of Jackson, WY . He was the grandfather of Callie, John and Joseph Llewellyn of Framingham.
Funeral services are from the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, on Saturday, Feb. 24th at 9 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass at 10 A.M. in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. Visitation will be at the funeral home, Friday, 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests to honor Howard’s memory by making a donation to the charity of your choice.
