Aliie L.Hill, 97, a resident of Stoneham for 66 years, died peacefully July 28, 2018, after a short period of declining health, at the Sawtelle Hospice House, Reading. Born in Medford, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (O’Neil) Foley.
Alice received her degree in Education from Lowell Teachers College, now UMass Lowell, and taught Medford elementary students for ten years before marrying and raising her family in Stoneham.
She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Hill Jr. with whom she shared fifty years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Edward J. Hill and his wife Susie of Overland Park, KS and Janet A. Ardizzone and her husband, Vincent of Andover. Loving grandmother of Alex and Nicholas Hill of Overland Park, KS and Joey Ardizzone of Andover. Also survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Foley of Stoneham and many nieces and nephews. Sister of the late George Foley, Grace Foley and Veronica Butler and sister-in-law of George Butler, all formerly of Stoneham.

at 10 AM at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
