Alice Lee Lan Lin

Alice Lin of Chinatown, Boston, MA, formerly of Weston, MA passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Tufts Medical Center of complications from cardiac arrest.

The viewing will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 26 ^th at St Cecilia Parish, 18 Belvidere St, Boston, MA 02115. The funeral will immediately follow at 11:00 am.  Father John Unni of St. Cecilia Parish will be officiating.  Burial will follow the funeral at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Boston, MA.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home in Stoneham, MA.

Alice was born in Shanghai, China.  She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and continued on to receive a Masters degree in Physics from George Washington University, Washington DC.

Alice worked as a physicist for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the U.S. Army for over 20 years.  She enjoyed listening to classical music, historical documentaries, and Asian-American historical artistic and cultural events. She also enjoyed stamp and coin collecting and classic television, and eating Dominican cuisine.  Recently, she found comfort and prayer in her Catholic traditions.

Alice is survived by her son, Peter Lin-Marcus, and friends.  She is preceded in death by her mother Tsing T  Wang, her aunt, Keng Eng Wang and her uncle Chia Ping Wang.
