Ann-Marie Campo

September 14, 1935 – December 6, 2022

Ann Campo, age 87, entered heaven to join our heavenly father on December 6, 2022. Ann is survived by her brother Peter Del Sette of Brockton, MA; her sisters, Marie Corwin of Coram, NY and Eileen Mazzarela of Plymouth, MA; her sons Rick Campo of Costa Mesa, CA and Charles Campo of Stoneham, MA along with her grandchildren, Ricky and Lucia Campo and Great Grandchildren, Madison and William.

Ann was born to John & Frances (Gritti) Del Sette in Boston, MA, and graduated from Jamaica Plain High School in 1954. She married Anthony “Tony” Campo of the North End and had two boys, Richard and Charles. Ann spent most of her life in Medford, MA raising her two boys where she was beloved by all who knew her. Much of her later years were spent in New Hampshire with her second husband Arthur “Sonny” Chaput where she evolved into a beloved grandmother, " NANA".

Ann was known for her amazing cooking, infectious laugh and endless stories that would have anyone who listened rolling over laughing until their stomachs hurt. She was an avid Bingo player and loved the casinos whether it was in Foxwood, CT, Las Vegas, NV or the many Indian casinos in Southern California.  Ann was very talented in many ways, she was an accomplished singer, having sung with John Kiley, the organist for the Boston Red Sox, and at many wedding celebrations where she was passionately known for her moving rendition of "Ave Maria".  To support her family Ann held many jobs which included a hairdresser, school crossing guard, driving instructor and physical therapist for special needs children.  Many of the experiences from these jobs contributed to the hilarious stories that Ann would share with family and friends.

Ann will be missed by many, but remembered with love and laughter by all who knew and met her. We Love you mom, Nana and Auntie.

A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Ann-Marie Campo, will be held Wednesday, December 14th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Parish, Stoneham, followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
