Anne L. Crosby , age 81, of Amesbury, formerly of Stoneham where she had lived for eighty years, died September 20, 2019, following a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Donald F. Crosby with whom she had shared 62 years of marriage. Born and raised in Stoneham, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Anna (Finnegan) Gross.
Anne was a graduate of Stoneham High School in the class of 1955. During that time she was a member of St. Patrick's Color Guard. She was employed for many years as a photographer for Macon Industries.
Anne and her husband Donald enjoyed spending time with their family and friends in Kennebunk, Maine and they had wonderful memories of travelling throughout the world. Anne enjoyed attending her book club and doing crafts with her friends.
She was the devoted mother of Patricia Hein and her husband Scott of Londonderry, NH, Terry Boccelli and her husband Peter of Cape Coral, FL. and Karen Ricci and her partner Ken Johnson of Stoneham. She was the loving grandmother of Peter Boccelli Jr., Steven Boccelli, Scotty Hein, Kathryn Hein, Matthew Ricci and Billy Ricci and the cherished great grandmother of Briana, Marisa, Peter and Angelina.
Funeral from the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, Monday at 9 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick Parish, 71 Central St. at 10 A.M. Visitation at the funeral home, Sunday, 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please send a memorial donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
