Carole A. O'Leary

Carole A. O’Leary (Powers) of Stoneham, was called home on May 23, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the mother of Sharon O’Leary-Graves and Thomas Graves of Auburn, NH; Robert and Susan O’Leary of Melrose, MA; Timothy and Karole O’Leary of Sutton, MA; and Cathy and Bobby Rousseau of Goffstown, NH. Carole leaves behind grandchildren:  Ashley, Hunter, Brandon, Timothy, Nicholas, Jonathan, Christopher, RJ, and Jamie and great grandchildren Meredith, Breton and Royce. She also leaves behind a beloved, lifelong friend, Carol Costello of Tewksbury, MA.

During her retirement, Carole enjoyed spending her time cross-stitching, knitting, crafting, and reading. Carole had made many lasting connections with her neighbors at her apartment complex. Carole would often reminisce about growing up in Somerville, her triumphs of returning to the working world, and raising her teenagers as a single mother.

Celebration of Life arrangements will be made a later date.

In Carole’s memory, donations can be made to a nonprofit of your choice or by doing a random act of kindness.
