MUSTONE, Christie J. ”Chris”
Passed away peacefully of natural causes on January 28, 2022, a month shy of his 93 rd birthday. 50-year resident of North Reading but his true home was Stoneham, MA.
His love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing and photography was a lifelong passion. He was a 70-year member of the Reading Rifle and Revolver Club where he was always involved with the skeet range and made some of his closest friends.
He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War, serving in Germany from 1952-1953. He was a career general contractor and also worked for Carroll Engineering of Andover for 20 years.
Chris was the loving son of the late Joseph and Marie (Galulla) Mustone. He is survived by his children, C. Joseph of Gloucester and JoAnne Carlson and her husband Thomas of Woburn. He also leaves his grandchildren, Brian Macinanti of Kingston, RI; Christie J. III, “CJ” of Somerville; Ryder S. and Sophia G. of Gloucester; sisters Carol and Theresa of Stoneham; sister-in-law Muriel, “Tootsie” of North Reading and more than 60 nieces and nephews. Special acknowledgement to his loving friends and neighbors Dean and Karen Rao of North Reading and lifelong friend Dennis Surrette of Stoneham.
He is predeceased by his brothers Michael, Joseph, Anthony, John and James, along with sisters Frances Simonin, Mary Gargano, Susan Comendul, Adeline Valente and Barbara Earle.

There will be a celebration in June at the Reading Rifle and Revolver Club.
