A.Corinne Mccarthy

On Friday April 24, 2020 Corinne Dukeshire (Davy) McCarthy of Stoneham, passed away at the age of 91.

A prominent member of the First Baptist Church of Woburn for much of her life Corinne was a woman of faith. Her family was everything to her and in return she was so incredibly loved. She had a passion for gardening, baking, story telling, and her cat Delilah. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, sense of humor, and compassion.  Corinne attended Middlesex Community College and Salem State College and earned her B.S. at Boston College. She worked for many years at Choate Hospital as a nurse and later as a Psyche & Addiction Nurse and Counselor.

Corinne was proceeded in death by her husband, Harold McCarthy, and her son, Kevin McCarthy. She is survived by her sister Patricia Rakow and brother Ronald Davy, as well as her daughter Karen Oppedisano, son-in-law Michael Oppedisano, grandchildren Noelle Hosten and Melissa Oppedisano, and her son Curtis McCarthy and family. She was the aunt of Michelle Simone and Guy Simone.

At this time we are sadly unable to have a funeral and ask that you honor Corinne's memory with ice cream and planting spring flowers. She will be so missed.  Her family suggests that memorial gifts be made to the First Baptist Church, 3 Winn St., Woburn, MA 01801.
