Deborah A. Phillips-Malgeri

Deborah A. Phillips-Malgeri, age 61, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones after a difficult battle with cancer on December 22, 2023. She was born February 4, 1962, in Cambridge, MA to her loving parents George and Eileen Phillips. Deborah lived all over the Greater Boston area with her family before settling down in Woburn, MA to raise and build her family.

She did not have an easy draw in life and faced many adversities throughout; her true spirit can only be expressed by the way she responded: by smiling right back into the face of those struggles. Despite the hardships and losses, Deborah worked her way up as a fleet services manager for an airline where she worked for many years. Any of the free time she had was spent relaxing at home with her dogs and enjoying a good movie or show. Her family will remember her as always hard working and understanding the value of honesty, dignity, and trying to do the right thing.

Deborah is survived by her two sons David and James and their father David Sr., her Aunt Joan, Brothers and Sisters James Gentry, Charlene, Lawrence, George, Darrell, and Sean Phillips; and Maureen Pavone, Cousins and Close Friends Mary Cechurah, Tina Decker, and Susan Cari, also Nieces and Nephews Jamie Cechurah, Jessica Dio, April, Michael and Anthony Pavone, L.J., Lauren, Derek, Andrew Phillips, and many more friends, loved ones, and acquaintances including her remaining family dog Cobie.

Please join us celebrating her life and listening to some of her favorite songs Friday evening December 29, 2023, between 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4, Common Street, Stoneham, MA.
