Diane Helen Kucher

Diane Helen Kucher, age 65, a lifelong resident of Bedford, passed away at Lahey Medical Center, Burlington on June 11, 2021, following a brief illness with cancer.  Born in Woburn; she was the daughter of the late  Michael and Ann (Zachirchuk) Kucher.

Diane graduated from Bedford High School in the class of 1975, and attended Aquinas Junior College in Newton.  She was a longtime employee as a draftsperson at Muchini Engineering of Waltham.  Diane inherited her love of music from her father, an accordionist.  She was a skilled pianist and self-taught at the guitar. For many seasons, Diane was a performing member of The Balalaika and Domra Association of America.  She was a devout parishioner  of the Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral of Boston.  Diane had always been concerned for the health and wellbeing of her family and friends.  She is survived by her brother, Michael S. Kucher of Bedford and her cousins, Kathleen LoGiudice of The Villages, FL, John Jr. and Paula Zachirchuk of Austin,TX. Diane is also sister to the late Karen Kucher, and cousin to the late Kathryn Zachirchuk.

A Funeral Service was held at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home with visitation and prayer service Thursday, June 24th,  followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
