Elaine Marie Ridings

Elaine Marie Ridings, known to friends and family as “Cookie” passed away peacefully on May 16, 2020, at her home in Medford at the age of 64.

Cookie was born on November 3, 1955, in Somerville, MA. to William Pfister and the late Rosemary Rudolph. She was a graduate of Saint Polycarps High School in Somerville, MA. She worked several jobs before finally finding her passion in grooming animals. She loved her dogs and all animals.

Cookie is survived by her husband Ronald Ridings, sons Christopher and Jason and daughter Christine. She was also survived by her two granddaughters that meant the world to her, Cassidy and Nevaeh.

Cookie loved her Aunt Barbie and spending time with her cousins, who were more like sisters, and their families, Jackie, Dave, Diane, Mackenzie, Cameron, Meredith and Karen.

She loved going to Pine Island, Meredith, NH with her family.

Cookie was preceded by her brother, John Pfister.

Cookie was a member of the Humane Society.
