of Stoneham died at home on February 3, 2020. She was the wife of the late Arthur E. Johnson. Born and raised in Bradford, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Marian (Bradley) Ingham.
She was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and earned her Masters Degree in Education at Salem State University. Elizabeth was a longtime teacher at Leslie Country Day School in Stoneham. She enjoyed many years of traveling the United States and Canada with her late husband as well as hiking, fishing, cross-country skiing and snorkeling. Later, she continued her travels both nationally and internationally with her children. A resident of Stoneham for nearly sixty years, she had most recently been an active and popular resident at the Arbors Assisted Living Community in Stoneham where she made new friends and received great support.
She was the mother of Thomas Johnson and his wife Patricia Reilly of Woburn, Deborah Perry and her husband Mark of Canton, Elaine Peterson and her husband James of Modesto, CA and Carol Carstensen and her husband Marius of Wakefield. She is also survived by six grandchildren, one great granddaughter and her devoted and loving sister-in-law, Claire Chalmers of Malden.

Friends and relatives are invited to a Memorial Gathering Saturday, 2-5 P.M. at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to a charity of your choice.
