Ellen S. Solomita

Ellen S. Solomita, age 54, of Charlestown, formerly of Stoneham, died suddenly  October 10, 2021.  Born in Everett, MA; she was the beloved daughter of Sharon (Colvin) Solomita of Stoneham and the late Michael  Solomita.

Ellen was raised in Stoneham, and graduated in the class of 1985 from Stoneham High School.  In 1989, she graduated with a BA from Babson College.

Ellen was employed as a Development Officer.  She resided in Charlestown for the past seventeen years where she was beloved by a wide circle of colleagues and friends. Ellen loved to travel and spend time in her favorite place, York, Maine.

She was the sister of Michael Solomita and his wife Julie of Marshfield  and Andrea Solomita-Bourque and her husband Matthew of South Portland, ME.  She was the cherished aunt of Josh and Zach Solomita

A Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Ellen Solomita will be held  at St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham on Tuesday, October 19th at 10:00 A.M. to be followed by Private Interment at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.  Visiting hours will be Monday, 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham.  In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial gift to Babson College in memory of Ellen Solomita.
