Frederick C. Harrington

Frederick C. Harrington Jr., age 50, a lifelong resident of Medford, died Sunday, October 6, 2019, following a lengthy illness. Born in Melrose, he was the son of Carol (D'Amico) Harrington of Medford and the late Frederick C. Harrington Sr.
Freddy was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1987. He was employed as a trolley car driver for the Boston Transportation Company.

Freddy was very close with his family and loved being with them, especially celebrating the holidays. He enjoyed trying his luck at the casinos, playing in poker tournaments and fishing.

Freddy was the brother of Tracy Ivey and her husband William; uncle of Brittney Ivey, William Ivey Jr. and Kristie Medlin and granduncle of Tyler Ivey and Aaliyah Medlin all of Medford. He leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A prayer service will be held at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, Thursday at 11 A.M. Visitation will be at the funeral home, Wednesday, 3-7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Dream Foundation or to Freddy's family.
