Geraldine Marie “Gerry” (Moynihan) Mcmanus

Geraldine Marie (Moynihan) McManus “Gerry”, of Reading, formerly of Melrose, passed away March 26, 2018, in her 97 ^th year.  She was the beloved wife of George L. McManus “Mac” with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.

Gerry will be remembered for her Christmas Eve celebrations, her famous roast beef dinners, great parties and mostly for her funny classic sense of humor.  Gerry was a friend, a second mother and confidante to many; the many memories of her will often bring a smile.

She was the devoted mother of Deborah A. McManus of Reading and Brian G. McManus and his wife Venere of W. Suffield, CT. and the  cherished grandmother ”Nanni” to Brittany M. Fife of Reading.  She was the dear twin sister of the late Gerald F. Moynihan.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.  In remembrance of Gerry McManus, those who wish may make a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
