Geraldine Salvi

Geraldine Salvi, age 81, a long time resident of Stoneham, passed away in her sleep September 23, 2018. She was the wife of  the late Lawrence Salvi with whom she had shared 40 years of marriage. Born in Boston, MA and raised in Somerville, MA; she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Manning) Dober.  Geraldine was a graduate of Somerville High School.  She worked with the Somerville Police Department for many years doing background checks and giving out permits.
Geraldine and her husband resided in Stoneham where they raised their family.  She was the loving mother of Darlene, Lawrence and Dino of Stoneham and Marty of Wakefield. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Daniele Salvi and Payton Osborne of Stoneham, her sister Mary Alice Dober of Somerville and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation followed by a prayer service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26 ^th , beginning at 10 A.M. and service at noon at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham.   In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
