Gertrude L. Bellegarde

Gertrude L. (Stanton) Bellegarde of Stoneham MA, died peacefully at home on October 18, 2022. Born on August 10, 1931 to Michael J. Stanton and Catherine M. Fielding Stanton. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond L. Bellegarde, her parents and eight of her brothers and sisters, Walter, Edward, Joseph, Thomas, James, Mary Rosa, Margaret Boner and Patricia Stanton. She was survived by her brother Norman and wife Mary.

She was the mother of Gerry and wife Lorrie, Janine and partner Gerald, David and wife Anna, Ellen, Paul and wife Liz, Jim and wife Anna and Judy. Grandmother to Justin, Jacob, Natalee, Tara, Jeanetta, Emily, Nathan, Lauren, Caitlin, Melissa, Jordan, Conor, Nevin and Giuseppe. Step-grandmother to Kia, Karly, Emily, Hannah and Jackson. Great grandmother to Isabella, Grace, Lilly, William, Harry, Annabelle, Maya, Xavier, Willow and Walter. She was an aunt to many nieces and nephews raised in Massachusetts, Virginia and California. She was raised in North Reading, graduating from Reading High School class of 1949. She enjoyed working as a Kelly Girl for many years before retiring and traveling to visit family in the US and Italy. She had fond memories of spending time with dear friends Helen, Theresa and her Friday Card friends.

Per her request, there will not be a funeral or service. If you wish, donations can be made in her memory to the Senior Center of Stoneham at 136 Elm St, Stoneham MA 02180.
