James T. Allen

With sadness we announce the passing of James T. Allen on April 26, 2023, after a tenacious hard-fought battle with cancer.
James was born in Salem, MA to his late parents Raymond W. and Helen (Bremner) Allen and raised in Lynn.
After serving in the Army Jim enjoyed a satisfying lifelong career in sales.  A man of quiet reserve and a calm demeanor he built many long-term relationships with his customers.  Jim was also known for his sense of humor, not deterred by his illness, even his care team always commented on his quick wit.

He was a faithful Boston sports fan but enjoyed watching any and all types of sports.  He came from a family with a musical background, so he loved listening to many different genres of music.

He is survived by his loving companion Patricia Curtin, his sister Patricia Hilbert of Hanover, PA and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his three brothers, Raymond, David, and Donald.

A graveside service celebrating Jim’s life will be held Thursday, May 18th at 12 Noon at St. Patrick Cemetery, Elm St., Stoneham.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House, 320 Haverhill St., Reading, MA 01867.
