Jeanette Forgione, 87, of Saugus, formerly of Stoneham, passed away July 9, 2018. Born in Boston and raised in Boston’s North End; she was the daughter of the late Ciriaco and Maria (Bruno) Paone. Jeanette was the youngest of eleven children who are now all deceased.
Jeanette was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Forgione Sr. For many years, she worked as a bookkeeper for several different vendors at the Produce Market in Chelsea.
She enjoyed her evenings out with the girls playing BINGO, and she was the best Italian cook, “she could make anything out of nothing.” Jeanette was always the first to assist her family and friends in need with a hot meal and caring support. She was adept at arts and crafts and knitting.
She was the mother of Paul Swart and his wife Roberta of North Andover, Thomas Forgione Jr. and his wife Ruthann of Saugus and the late Karen Wilson and Steven Forgione. In addition, she leaves grandchildren, Paul, Lisa, Michael, Christopher and Rachel; a great grandson Tyler and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, Saturday, July 14 th , 9AM-11AM with a prayer service at 11AM, followed by burial in Riverside Cemetery, Saugus. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the C.O.P.D. Foundation, 3300 Pone De Leon Blvd., Miami, FL 33134, would be appreciated.
