John J Lamb, Jr.

LAMB, John J. Jr., “Jack” of Stoneham, MA, born in Sydney, Cape Breton, he was a former, longtime resident of Medford, MA, former resident of Brooksby Village and Big Pond, Cape Breton, died at the age of 88 with his wife of 65 years by his side. Beloved husband of 65 years to Frances A. Lamb (Rosa). Cherished father to Stephen J.  Lamb of Medford, MA, Janet F. Carey, her husband, Thomas E. of Chelmsford, MA, Daniel Lamb, his wife Sheila M. of Westford, MA, Andrew C. Lamb of Malden, MA and Robert M. Lamb of Stoneham, MA.  Treasured grandfather of Martha Lamb, Emily Carey, Ethan Lamb, Thomas J. Carey, Ainsley Lamb and Benjamin Carey.

Son of the late John and Cecelia (MacIssac) Lamb.  Brother of Ronald Lamb, Cecelia Lamb and the late Mary Nee.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was a well-loved father, grandfather and husband and a respected member of the community and will be missed.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pine Street Inn, Boston, MA.

The funeral will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, MA on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at 10:00 AM.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours prior to the funeral mass from 8:30-9:45 AM at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St. Stoneham, MA  02180. Internment will take place at the Calvary Cemetery, Winchester, MA following the funeral mass.
