John W. Spinosa

John W. Spinosa of Saugus, formerly of Stoneham, passed away August 14, 2018, at home following a prolonged illness.  Born and raised in Somerville, he was the son of the late Cosmo and Regina (Gallo) Spinosa.

Following graduation from Somerville High School, John enlisted in the Navy, serving four years active duty He was a retired employee for the City of Somerville where he worked for many years.

John loved his sons and tried to do his best for his family.  He was the father of Peter Spinosa of Revere and Thomas Spinosa and his wife Rhynea    of Lynn and grandfather of Faith. He was the brother of Salvatore, Joe, Mario, Armando “Bill”, Vincent “Jimmy”, Mary and the late Vincent Spinosa.

Services will be private.  Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
