June. R. Mosier

June R. Mosier, age 98, of Peabody, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Brooksby Village, Peabody MA. She was born May 16, 1922 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Frank and Edna (Weigel) Raffel. June worked for the DuPont Company in St. Louis where she met her future husband Eugene H. Mosier. They were wed in June, 1946. The couple lived in Philadelphia PA, Rockville Center NY, Needham MA, and Basking Ridge, NJ. They lived for many years in Wilmington, Delaware where they retired.
June greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling the world with her husband Gene and spending long vacations in Florida. June had many dear friends and interests. She especially enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, volunteering, golfing, swimming, dancing and going to theater, camping with her son Alan and his family as well as spending long visits with her daughter Susan and her family in San Diego. June is survived by her two children Alan Mosier (wife Beth) of Reading, MA and Susan Mosier (husband Punit Gohil) of San Diego, CA; Grandchildren Jeffrey Mosier (husband Edward Gargiulo) of Wilton Manors FL, Brian Mosier of Somerville MA, and Lauren Gohil of San Diego, CA. June was preceded in death by her loving husband Eugene, with whom she enjoyed 54 wonderful years together.

For safety reasons, her funeral service will be private with family only. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, DE. A memorial service celebrating June’s life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
