Leonard W. Thomas

Leonard W. Thomas, age 83, of Billerica, died July 23, 2021, in Rochester, NH following a brief illness.  He was the husband of the late June (Talbot) Thomas. Born in Winchester, MA; he was the son of the late Otto and Eva Thomas.

Leonard was raised in Woburn and graduated from Woburn High School.  He then served four years in the Air Force during the Korean War.  Throughout his career, he was employed at Eastman Kodak as a field engineer.

Leonard enjoyed deep sea fishing and travelling.  His favorite places to spend time were Maine in the summer and Florida in the winter.  He had fun gambling at the casinos.

He was sociable, charming and would do anything for his family.

He was the father of Kerri Rudenick and her husband Randy of Billerica and the late Sean Thomas.   He was the proud grandfather of Sean and Kacie Rudenick.  He leaves his brothers-in-law, William Talbot and Lloyd Adams, many nieces and nephews and his beloved partner Roberta "Bobbi" Consalvi who cared for him in his final moments.  He was the brother of the late Marion Crooker, June Keller and Alicia Sweeney.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, July 30th at 10 A.M. at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, followed by a graveside service with military honors at 11 A.M in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Disabled Veterans (DAV.org)
