Marion Frances Rogers, "Mimi", a longtime resident of Winchester passed away unexpectedly September 4, 2021, at the age of 94. She was the devoted wife of the late Allen F. Rogers Jr.
Born and raised in Cambridge, MA; she was the daughter of the late Paul S. and Ann B. (Harvey) Davis. Marion was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Cambridge.
Mimi resided in Winchester for nearly sixty years. She was the secretary at the Town of Winchester Building Department, retiring after 22 years of employment from her beloved Town Hall. She was a longtime volunteer at the Jenks Senior Center in Winchester.
Mimi will be fondly remembered for her quick wit, kindness and joie de vivre.
She was the cherished mother of three daughters, Marilyn A. Gagalis and husband Steve of Winchester, Diane M. Curtis and late husband Glenn of Billerica and Elizabeth C. Campbell and husband Robert of Woburn. She was the fond grandmother of Nicholas A. Gagalis and wife Brianna Healy of Tewksbury, Kristen R. Gagalis of Somerville, Michelle Kondroski and husband Zachary of Wilmington, Robert A. Campbell of Lexington and Jennifer M. Campbell of Woburn and great grandmother of Alexander S. Gagalis of Tewksbury. She leaves her "bonus daughters" Margo Haverty, Maureen Richard and Mary Berrigan and their families. She is survived by cousins Irene Delgado of Lawrence and Judyann Murray of Centerville and their families, and known as the beloved "Aunt" to the entire Lynch Family of the South Shore. She was the sister of the late Ann Reynolds and Dorothy McKinnon..
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in celebration of the life of Marion F Rogers on Saturday, September 11th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary's Parish, 160 Washington St., Winchester, followed by burial in Wildwood Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday, 4-8 P.M. at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham. Masks required at church and funeral home.
