Martha J. Porter

Martha J. Porter (Hanright) of  Stoneham, passed peacefully in her home April 28, 2021, with family at her side. She was the loving wife of the late Henry J. Porter, Jr., and mother of Meg Porter of Brussels, Belgium; Neil and Charlene Porter of Stoneham; Martha Jane Porter of Stoneham; the late Mark Porter of Ipswich, MA, and John and Erin Porter of Wakefield.  Martha cherished her beautiful grandchildren who brought her great joy, Kelsey, Kathryn, Riley, John and Brian. She is survived by her sister Margaret Sweet, and predeceased by Hubert Hanright, Anne Leydon, John Hanright and Mary Ellen Beagen. Her beloved dog, Maeve Bridget, played a vital caregiver role and will dearly miss her.  Martha spent her long, well-lived life devoted to her family, travelling in Europe and South America, and enjoying time with her many special friends. Many thanks to all the people involved in her medical care throughout her life.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, May 3rd, 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Church, Stoneham.  Visitation will be held Sunday, 2-5 PM at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham.
