Michael V. Solomita

Michael V. Solomita in Stoneham, formerly of Everett, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's at 82 years.  He is the loving and devoted husband of Sharon L. (Colvin) Solomita of 55 years.  He is the wonderful father of Michael V. Solomita, Jr. and his wife Julie, Ellen Solomita, and Andrea Solomita-Bourque and her husband Matthew Bourque. He is the adored "Gramps" of Josh and Zach.  He is the beloved brother of the late Anthony Solomita and his wife Louise Solomita and Rosemarie (RoRo) Spurr and her late husband Ray.  Also survived by loving nieces and nephews.  Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Thursday, March 21, 2019 4pm-8pm in the Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, Mass.  A funeral will be conducted Friday, March 22 at 9am at St. Patrick's Parish, 71 Central St., Stoneham (please meet directly at church, not the funeral home).  Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. Alumnus of Northeastern University and mentor to many in the telecommunications industry. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to: Parkinson's Foundation ( parkinson.org ).
