Miro Habunek

Miro Habunek, age 70, a resident of Somerville, MA for over 30 years, died suddenly at Mass. General Hospital, Boston, November 2, 2022.  He was the loving husband of 41 years to Debra (Konopacka) Habunek.  Miro was born in Rovinj, Croatia; the oldest son  of the late Milovoj and  Elda (Tromba) Habunek, and great grandson of the late Giovanni and Marie Tromba all formerly of Rovinj, Croatia.

Miro was in the entertainment industry.   He was the owner of Evergreen Audio and Video of Somerville and he enjoyed gigs as a disc jockey at weddings and various other celebrations.

In addition to his wife Debbie, he leaves his brother, Ivan Habunek of Croatia and his brother-in-law and best friend Stephen Konopacka and his sister-in-law Carolyn Konopacka, both of Stoneham.  Miro was the loving son-in-law of the late Stanley and Frances Konopacka

A Graveside service will be held Monday, November 14th at 11:00 A.M. in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
