Patricia A. Ramos

Patricia Ramos, age 76, of  Stoneham, passed away December 7, 2020, following a lengthy decline with Alzheimer's.  Born in Boston; she was the daughter of the late James and Frances (Watson) Darcy.

Pat grew up in Cambridge and was a 1962 graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin.

Pat waitressed for nearly twenty years at the 99 Restaurant on Mishawum Rd. in Woburn.  It was there that she met her fellow workers Michelle, Dawn and Jane who became everlasting, dear friends.  She was a devout member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cambridge.

Pat was a devoted single mom of three who was a full time mother and held a full time job outside of their home.  Pat was always a caregiver, whether it was mothering,  running errands for her neighbors or tending to the sick and the elderly.   She was fun,  had a great sense of humor and  loved to have a good time.

She was the mother of Patricia "Trish" Vallery and her husband Edward of Somerville and the late Nancy Ramos and James "Jim" Ramos ; the proud grandmother of Jay Ramos, Samantha Vallery,  Darcy Cronin, Ally (Ramos) Hyde, Sean Dunn, Patrick Cook, Edward Vallery III, Eric Vallery and the late David Dunn and"baby" Matthew Vallery and the adoring great grandmother of Mila, Maeve and "baby" Grayson.  She was the sister of Norma Jean Darcy-Carbone and the late James Darcy, John Darcy and Francis Darcy and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Family and dear friends are welcome to visitation at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common St., Stoneham, Friday 10-11:30 A.M. followed by interment at Cambridge Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Greater Boston Food Bank, 70 South Bay Ave., Boston, MA 02118.
