Patricia A. Watters

d. January 17, 2020

Patricia Watters, 76, of Reading, MA passed away December 17, 2020 as a result of a battle with renal disease and Covid-19 as contributing factors near the end.  She was at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen when she drifted off peacefully to be with the Lord.   She was born to Paul and Claire Mahoney of Utica, NY, and adopted some years later by William and Doris Watters of Stonham, MA.

Patricia attended Wakefield High School where she was an honor student throughout her attendance and graduated with honors in 1962.  She spent most of her life working for various employers as a secretary and file clerk, including working as a civilian for a Colonel in the United States Air Force, until she became disabled and started collecting Social Security.

Patricia was known as a very caring person and had a friendly personality.  She donated to a lot of different causes and organizations and was always willing to help anyone in need.  She was very religious in her catholic faith and enjoyed watching church services and bible teachings on TV when she could not attend church services in person.

She was the mother of Patricia Weed, Patrick Wood, Randy Weed and Pamela (Weed)Wood all of Fitchburg and the grandmother of Alexis Wood of Fitchburg, Jared Weed of Worchester, James Woods of Nashua, NH, Renee Peneseau, Patrick Weed Jr. of the United States Air Force in Maryland and Breighania Weed of North Carolina.  She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
