Sarah Elizabeth Johnson

Johnson, Sarah Elizabeth (MacAulay),  “Betty” of Kennebunk, ME, formerly of Woburn, MA passed away on April 1, 2019, with her loving daughters by her side. Born on June 20, 1924, in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late John A. and Sarah Helen (Carey) MacAulay.  She was the loving wife of the late Francis N. Johnson “Frank” and mother of Linda J. Allen and her late husband Michael and Karen L. Johnson both of Reading, MA. “Nannie” to John M. Allen and his wife Kristen of Charlestown, MA and Victoria A. Scott “Torie” and her husband Daniel of S. Boston, MA.  Betty devoted her entire life to her family by making every visit and celebration special.  Her devotion was unending and her candor is unforgettable. She took great pride in her family by instilling strong values and traditions.  She had a great joy for life, and energy that will always make her forever young.  She will be dearly missed by all those who truly knew her.  Services will be private.  As an avid Bruins fan, donations in her memory can be made to the Boston Bruins Foundation, 100 Legends Way, Boston, MA 02114. andersonbryantfuneralhome.com
