Scott Anderson

Scott D. Anderson (Scotty), of Dorchester, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2023, at his home. Scott, was born in Bedford, MA on May 9th, 1959, son of the late Donald H. Anderson and Frances M. Anderson (Griner)

Scott was educated in the Wakefield school system and graduated from Wakefield high school with the Class of 1977. He was an avid sportsman and was on the indoor and outdoor track teams and basketball team.  He was never far away from his trumpet, something he enjoyed for years after high school.  He was a graduate of the University of Mass Lowell, class of 1981.

He would go on to work in the food service industry for the next 35 years, first at the Museum of Science, then as chef at the Harvard School of Law for over 10 years, but he was most proud of all the years at Pizzeria Regina.

He loved to have coffee each morning at DJ’s Market, where he would visit with the neighborhood.  He was happiest when he was around his friends, going to lunch with his college buddies Steve and Rob, was a highlight.

Scott is survived by his sister Sue B Anderson, nephew James M Narkewich, niece Victoria Albano and her husband Chris and their son Christopher.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
