Stephen W. Christie, 69, of Malden MA, formally of Stoneham, passed
away July 15, 2021, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Born in Woburn, MA and raised in Stoneham; he was the son of the late
Lawrence and Geraldine (Fink) Christie.
Stephen graduated from Stoneham High School in the class of 1970. For
37 years, he was employed as an accountant for Raytheon.
Stephen enjoyed playing softball on a company team, as well as being on
a company bowling league.   He also enjoyed gardening, vacations camping
with friends and family and cheering on his Boston sports teams.
He is survived by his wife Merrilea (Tincker) Christie of Malden; sons
Richard Christie and Daniel Christie of Malden and granddaughter
KayLeigh Stephan of Woburn.  He was the brother of Janet Catino and
her husband Dennis of NH, James Christie and is wife Deborah of CA, Bonnie
Crawford and her husband Glen of MS, Ronald Christie of MS. Kevin Christie
and his wife Christine of MA, Karen Best of NH and Kenneth Christie and his
wife Debra of NH.  He also leaves his sister-in-law Deirdre Tincker-Sieghart
and her husband Wolfgang of Germany and many other relatives and friends.
Services were held July 19, 2021, at Anderson-Bryant Funeral Home, 4 Common
St., Stoneham.  Remembrances may be made to Care Dimensions Hospice
