Susan Marie Murphy

Susan M. Murphy, 70, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, after a brief illness.  Born November 5, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Quentin and Marie (McCarron) Murphy. Loving sister of Nancy Murphy of Melrose, Robert Murphy and his wife Marian of Millisle, N. Ireland and Bruce Murphy and his fiancee Christine Waddell of Tewksbury.  Also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, a grandnephew, many caring friends and neighbors, as well as her beloved dogs and birds.

Susan graduated from Malden High School in 1969, and was a lifelong Malden resident.  A teacher at heart, she graduated from Boston State College in 1973.  She was employed by Spaulding Rehabilitation Center and then Partners HealthCare for over 40 years.  She loved all animals.  She was a creative and skilled crafter-sewing, knitting crocheting, stamping, she could do it all beautifully.  She will be remembered for her thoughtfulness and kindness to all, as well as for her unbelievable memory.
